Laura Beaver is an LCSW with over 16 years of experience in nonprofits, higher education, and clinical social work. She has her BSW from Baylor University and her MSW from top-rated Washington University in St. Louis. She has served as a full-time grant writer, tenured faculty member, Director of Field Education, and Director of the Fontbonne University Center Against Human Trafficking and Exploitation.
Laura currently works in full-time private practice with Oak and Willow Counseling in Flower Mound, Texas. Trained in EMDR and IFS Level One, she helps adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma. Laura is passionate about ensuring excellent and individualized care is provided to everyone she works with.
Laura is excited to see how the clubhouse will impact the community and its families. Outside of her work, Laura spends much of her time with her husband and their four kids. They love to camp and be outdoors. She is also an avid trail runner and active member of her church community.
