The How U Doin Foundation is revolutionizing how we support adolescents, families, and communities facing mental health, connection, and substance misuse challenges — starting right here in Texas.
We believe every teen deserves a safe place to belong, every family deserves understanding, and every community thrives when its young people are connected, supported, and inspired.
Texas is facing a youth mental health crisis:
Our community has over 7.5 million youth under 18, yet fewer than 25 Intensive Outpatient Programs in the entire state. In our own 12 municipalities, there are only two teen programs within driving distance — most without evening or weekend access.
Families are left isolated, teens are left vulnerable, and the gap in resources keeps growing.
Our founder, Eddie Fischer, knows firsthand what it means to face adversity and come out stronger. Nineteen years sober, Eddie has dedicated his life to helping others find hope, connection, and purpose.
After years of working with teens and families, Eddie saw the same pattern over and over: once treatment ends, support ends — and that’s when teens are most at risk of relapse, isolation, and crisis.
The How U Doin Foundation was born to fill that gap.
We’re creating a place that’s there for teens before, during, and after treatment — a place they want to come to, where families feel welcome, and where community replaces isolation.
Opening in Northlake, Texas in 2026, our 5,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse will be a safe, fun, and purpose-driven hub — open six days a week, donor-supported, and built on our Four Pillars:
Inside the Clubhouse:
We are trauma-informed, connection-first, and solutions-focused.
We believe in:
The first Clubhouse will open in 2026 in Northlake, Texas. But our vision is bigger: to create a network of Clubhouses across Texas — and beyond — so no teen or family faces this journey alone.
We’re building more than a building — we’re building a movement. Your support will open the doors of the Clubhouse, fund life-changing programs, and create a safe haven for thousands of teens and families.
