Inside the How U Doin Foundation Clubhouse in Northlake, Texas, the Flex Space is one of the most powerful and versatile rooms in the entire facility.
This room is intentionally designed to adapt to multiple purposes including media education, weekly teen groups, movie nights, and fundraising events.
It is a space where learning meets connection and where fun meets purpose.
The Flex Space serves as a launch pad for media exploration and skill development.
Teens will use accessible equipment to experiment with photography, lighting, video production, social media creation, and content development. This hands on learning environment allows teens to build confidence before stepping into the higher end Podcast Studio and Editing Suite.
This educational component has been designed in collaboration with David White, CEO and Founder of Vidda Creative. David and his team have been instrumental in helping structure the three room media layout and will guide proper equipment setup, workflow, and training.
David White also serves as an Advisory Board Member for Media and Podcast Production at the How U Doin Foundation. His leadership ensures that teens receive professional guidance while learning real world creative skills in a safe and structured environment.

This partnership strengthens the quality, credibility, and long term impact of our Media Center programming in Northlake and throughout North Texas.
The Flex Space will host structured weekly teen groups designed to foster connection, conversation, and consistent support.
There will be one group per week for boys, one group per week for girls, and a coed mashup group most Saturdays.
These gatherings allow teens to share openly, build trust, and strengthen emotional awareness. They also give staff and volunteers an opportunity to understand where teens are and whether additional support may be needed.
Consistent group structure ensures that teens in Northlake, Denton County, and surrounding communities are never navigating challenges alone.
Movie Nights will be a fun and meaningful hook for teens.
Teens will help choose the movie of the week. There will be pizza, popcorn, and intentional discussion around age appropriate topics.
Movie Nights combine Fun and Connection while creating natural opportunities for learning and reflection.
It is another way the Flex Space supports the Four Core Elements while strengthening community among teens in Northlake and across North Texas.
The Flex Space also serves as the primary location for fundraising events.
Rather than renting outside venues, the How U Doin Foundation will host supporters directly inside the Clubhouse.
There is nothing more powerful than inviting donors and community members into the very space they are helping build.
Fundraising in our own home increases transparency, strengthens connection, and reinforces long term sustainability for teen programming in Northlake.
The Flex Space is not defined by one function. It is defined by adaptability.
Education. Groups. Movie Nights. Fundraising. Creativity. Conversation. Celebration.
This room allows the How U Doin Foundation to respond to the evolving needs of teens and families in Northlake and across North Texas.
